Great strides on Client and Proposal Management
Although I don’t have any screenshots to show in this post, we are really making great progress on the entire SixCentral application. We have completed the roadmap for what we would like to release in the Alpha version — a very limited release that probably won’t include some of the more advanced features. We wan’t to get the application into the hands of some of the freelancers that we are building it for to start to gather more feedback.
As of now, we are working on a few last items:
- Global view of a proposal for a client — when you send the proposal to a client, they will be required navigate to a URL that you defined (i.e. sixcentral.com/someclient) and to login using a password that you create for them.
- Global comments — we already have much of the framework built for this with our private client notes feature, just need to abstract that out for global comments so you can communicate back and forth with your clients.
- Dashboard — we have some pretty crazy ideas for the dashboard, including some drag & drop custom grouping and graphing. It will be totally customizable, so you will be able to promote items that you find most important.
That’s all for now. I’ll try to get some screenshots up in the next few days.
